A mince pies is a sweet pie that traditionally served during Christmas. It's soft crust filled with sweet mixture of dried fruit and spices let people forget all the unpleasant things in life. On a cozy Christmas Eve, make some mince pies and learn to be honest and forgive.

Ingredients
Mincemeat
Group1
Green Raisins ----------- 200g
Zante currante ----------- 200g
Candied orange peel ----------- 50g
Chopped almond ----------- 56g
Brown sugar ----------- 56g
Group2
Brandy ----------- 189ml
Shredded apples ----------- 150g
Softened Butter ----------- 40g
Orange juice ----------- 100g
Lemon zest ------------ half of a lemon
Group3
Clove powder ----------- 1/3 tsp
Cinnamon powder ----------- 1/2 tsp
Ginger powder ----------- 1/2 tsp
Cardamom Powder ----------- 1/2 tsp
Sea salt ----------- 1/2 tsp
Pie crust
All purpose flour ----------- 450g
Baking powder ----------- 1/2 tsp
Unsalted butter ----------- 225g
Granulated ----------- 1 tbsp
Cold water ------------ 90g
Steps
1. Mix the group 1 and group 2 ingredients together.

2. Cover with plastic wrap and let it stay in the refrigerator overnight.

3. Pour the filling into a pot, add all the spices(group 3) and stir-fry over low heat until the sauce is sticky.

4. While waiting for the filling to cool down, start making the crust. First put the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in a bowl. Then cut the butter into pieces and put it in there too.

5. Knead by hand to make the mixture into the state below:

6. Add in the cold water to get the dough together until it looks like the picture below:

7. Let the dough stay in the fridge for at least 30min.
8. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin, then use a round mold to cut small circles out of the dough. Place the dough into muffin pan, fill in the fillings and then cut the rest of the dough into star- shapes and decorate on the top.

9. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 Celsius for 15-20 minutes.

10. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
